Abstract

David A. Nardone, M.D., begins by discussing his family background and childhood, born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He then discusses his education background, earning an arts degree in 1964 at the University of Notre Dame followed by his medical degree at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. Nardone also discuses his service in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, administrative work at the OHSU VA Hospital, and teaching experiences and public service.
